Mercy Relief State Holding Gala Dinner - October 20 2008 back
Yang Lay was invited to showcase her jewelry designs and give a fashion show at the Mercy Relief Stateholders’ Night Cum 5th Anniversary Dinner on 20 October 2008, where Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Dr. Fatimah Lateef were the Guests of Honour.
The humanitarian organization presented an uplifting report on the rebuilding efforts in Sichuan, China. In partnership with Mercy Relief’s efforts to raise funds for the Sichuan victims, Yang Lay donated the proceeds of the sales of her creations to Mercy Relief to further aid their Sichuan restoration works.
